Peek at my Battlestar work on Hulu

Check out this music video that was created out of the documentary footage I shot for the upcoming Battlestar Galactica Season 4.5 Blu-Ray/DVD. I followed composer Bear McCreary and his team while they recorded the music for the finale. Enjoy.
Planet Ishmael

Physicist Stephen Hawking is convinced the human race won’t survive the next 100 years unless we start to colonize neighboring planets.
From what I can see from my armchair in Southern California, much of the violence in the world seems to involve Muslims who can’t get along with their neighbors. The current theater of Israel/Lebanon/Iran/Syria has been in dress rehearsals ever since Ishmael was born to Abraham and Hagar, 4000+ years ago.
Maybe instead of Hawking’s idea of blanket Exodus from Earth, we could separate the feuding tribes into different corners of the galaxy, much like the British sending their political prisoners and petty criminals to Australia in the 18th and 19th centuries. Then the human race could delay another globally jeopardizing situation until warp speed and laser blasters are invented. I also wonder if Stephen Hawking watches Battlestar Galactica.
